Play RasterBike Online
1988 Amiga racing game. Two-player futuristic light bike duel. Players leave solid trails; crashing into trails or walls costs a life. Nine lives per match.

RasterBike came out for the Amiga in 1988, developed by EAS Software. It was one of those straightforward, competitive games that felt right at home on the platform, offering a clean take on the light cycle concept without much fuss or extra fluff. You could play it alone against the computer, but it really came alive with a friend.
You control a futuristic bike that leaves a solid, colored trail behind you as you move. The main goal is simple: force your opponent to crash into either your trail, their own, or the arena walls while avoiding the same fate yourself. Each match gives you nine lives, and the screen wraps around, so if you exit one edge, you reappear on the opposite side. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as the screen fills with crisscrossing paths. It feels tense and immediate, especially when you're locked in a tight duel and trying to outmaneuver the other bike.
