So Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge on GBA is basically that classic Rayman platforming chaos, but with a twist—you're seeing everything from this weird pseudo-3D angle now. Feels a little janky at first, but you get used to it. The Hoodlums are back (of course), and you either play as Rayman or Globox, smacking through 16 levels packed with their goofy minions.
There are some new power-ups this time—like fire resistance (thank god, those lava levels were brutal in the old games) and a speed boost that makes Rayman zip around like he chugged five energy drinks. The controls take a minute to adjust if you're used to the older 2D games, but once it clicks, it's satisfying to just wreck Hoodlums with a charged-up punch.
Honestly, it's not the best Rayman game, but if you're craving more of that limbless weirdo's adventures, it's a solid time-waster.
