Relaxuma na Mainichi is a Japan only Game Boy Advance title from 2003, developed by MTO. It arrived late in the GBA's life, a time when smaller, experimental titles were still finding an audience on the handheld. You don't play as a hero on a quest, but as a caretaker for a round, white bear named Relaxuma.

You control a cursor to interact with Relaxuma and his small, screen by screen world. The main objective is simply to keep him happy by fulfilling his simple requests, which usually involve finding items for him or rearranging the furniture in his room. Two signature mechanics are the item collection, where you hunt for specific objects hidden in the environment, and the room decoration, which lets you personalize his living space. The pacing is deliberately slow, with no time limits or fail states, making it a game about patience and observation. It feels like quietly tending to a small, digital pet that only ever wants to nap.
