Game Overview
Rette! is one of those Amiga games that looks simple at first—just a little guy running around collecting fruit—but then suddenly you're dodging spikes, bouncing off trampolines, and trying not to get squashed by falling blocks. The controls are tight, which helps when you're mid-air and realize you misjudged a jump (happens more than I'd like to admit).
The music has that classic Amiga charm—upbeat, slightly repetitive, but in a way that gets stuck in your head after a few levels. And the later stages? They get brutal. I still haven't beaten the last few without cheating.
If you like platformers that start cute and then quietly try to murder you, this one's a solid pick.
