Revelation! came out for the Amiga in 1991, a product of Krisalis Software. It was one of those puzzle games that felt right at home on the platform, offering a clean, cerebral challenge without the graphical excess some other titles chased. You navigated a series of abstract rooms, each a self contained test of logic and speed.
You control a small cursor, moving it around a grid to manipulate colored dials and locks. The goal is to open all nine doors in each level by matching the colors correctly before time runs out. The game demands quick pattern recognition; you twist the dials to align hues, grab power ups to freeze the timer or clear mistakes, and advance using passwords between stages. It moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty escalates noticeably around the middle levels. Playing it feels like calmly untangling a knot that someone is slowly pulling tighter.
