RoboSport_Disk1 is one of those Amiga games that makes you feel like a mad scientist programming killer robots—but in a good way. You pick your squad from five different bot types (the sniper one’s my favorite), then give them commands for the next turn. Watching them actually carry out your plans—or spectacularly fail because you misjudged the enemy’s move—is half the fun.
It’s pure strategy, no reflexes or luck involved, so every loss stings a little more (and every win feels earned). The hot-seat multiplayer gets intense, especially when your friend’s tank bot suddenly flanks your whole team. Just don’t blame me when you spend way too long tweaking your robot’s attack patterns.
