Play Robot Wars : Extreme Destruction Online
Build a bot with way too many flamethrowers, then watch it flip over immediately in the arena while some poor sap gets launched into a pit by a spinning saw. Classic Robot Wars chaos on the GBA.

Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction came out on Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by Crawfish Interactive. It was part of that wave of licensed games trying to capture the appeal of the TV show, back when portable 3D was still pretty rough around the edges. You got a lot of clunky charm for a GBA cart, even if it wasn't pushing any technical boundaries.
You control a custom-built robot, assembling it from a wide selection of parts like spinning saws, pneumatic flippers, and flamethrowers before entering combat tournaments. The main objective is to win fights by either immobilizing your opponent or shoving them into one of the arena's many hazards. Key mechanics include carefully managing your robot's weight distribution to avoid tipping over, and timing your weapon strikes to drain an opponent's battery life. The pace is methodical, almost tactical; it's less about frantic button mashing and more about positioning and picking your moments. It feels like a scrappy, slightly awkward puzzle where you are both the designer and the solver.
