RockMan EXE 3 (Eurasia) (J) is one of those GBA games that feels like a mix of RPG and action. You spend half your time in the real world talking to people, solving little puzzles, and the other half diving into cyberspace to fight viruses in grid-based battles.
The combat is where it shines. You build a folder of battle chips before each fight, then try to line up attacks while dodging enemy patterns. It's fast, but not so fast that you can't think ahead. Sometimes you get stuck grinding for better chips, but when a fight clicks, it feels good.
I remember one boss that kept wrecking me until I realized I could bait its attacks into the back row. That kind of trial-and-error is everywhere in RockMan EXE 3 (Eurasia) (J), but it never feels unfair.
