Cross Souls change MegaMan’s abilities based on other Navis, and Beast Out? It’s basically a temporary rage mode where he goes feral and wrecks everything.
There’s so much to dig into here—new areas to explore, way too many Battle Chips to hunt down (good luck completing that folder), and even online battles if you had the link cable back in the day. The story’s got that classic Battle Network feel—equal parts goofy and intense—and the pixel art still holds up. If you’ve played the others, this one polishes everything to a shine. If you haven’t? Honestly, it’s a great place to start before diving into the rest.
