Play Rod-Land Online
1990 action game for Amiga. Play as Tam and Rit, using a rod to stun and flip enemies. Summon ladders with boots. Collect flowers for bonus mini-games. Fight varied enemies and bosses across levels.

Rod-Land came out on the Amiga in 1990, published by U.S. Gold. It was a bright, colorful action game in an era when the platform was full of ambitious titles, from sprawling adventures to complex simulations. This one stood out for its straightforward, cooperative charm.
You control either Tam or Rit, two children trying to rescue their mother from a giant spider. Your main tool is a magic rod that stuns enemies, letting you flip them over for points or use them as temporary platforms. You collect bells to upgrade your rod's length and power, and special boots let you summon ladders to reach higher areas. The game progresses screen by screen, clearing each area of enemies before moving on, with a boss waiting at the end of every world. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty feels fair but steadily increasing. It feels like a cheerful, methodical puzzle dressed up as an action game.
