Ruff Rogers is having a bad day—someone stole his marbles, and now he’s got to shoot his way through 16 levels of weirdly aggressive drains to get them back. You start with a pea shooter that barely tickles enemies, but stumbling across a flamethrower or machine gun makes things way more satisfying. The controls feel tight—jumping, ducking, and firing in any direction actually works like it should.
The marbles come in three colors, and you need to grab a certain number of each per level. Hit the quota, and the rest turn into coins for extra lives or points. There are checkpoints too, hidden as switches, which is nice because some of these jumps are just mean. It’s one of those games where you’ll die a lot at first, but once you memorize where the good guns spawn, it gets way more fun.
