Game Overview

This Amiga version of Mahjongg is one of those "just one more try" games. You’ve got 40 levels of stacked tiles with these intricate butterfly and mask designs—pretty to look at, but don’t get too distracted. The catch? You can only grab tiles that aren’t buried under others and have at least one side free. Sounds simple until you realize halfway through that you’ve accidentally blocked yourself.

The timer keeps things tense, but it’s not brutal—just enough to make you think before slapping tiles together. Some levels feel like puzzles where you need to plan two or three moves ahead, especially when the stacks get tall. I kept getting stuck on level 12 until I figured out the trick was clearing from the middle first.

It’s straightforward but satisfying when you finally clear a tricky layout. The tile designs give it a bit of charm, even if you’re mostly focused on not trapping yourself. Perfect for quick sessions when you want something familiar but just challenging enough.
