Play Sega Rally Championship (J)(Eurasia) Online

Sliding a Lancia sideways through dirt turns feels surprisingly good on the GBA—short tracks, quick races, and just enough grip difference between surfaces to keep it interesting.

Game Overview

Sega Rally Championship for the Game Boy Advance was released in 2002, developed by Sega and published by THQ. It arrived during a period when handheld racing games were often simplified, but this one tried to capture some of the feel of its arcade and console predecessors without overcomplicating things.

You control a rally car across a selection of short, winding courses, aiming to finish each race in first place. The handling varies noticeably between surfaces like gravel, mud, and tarmac, requiring adjustments in your steering and braking. Drifting is essential on dirt sections, and you must memorize track layouts to shave seconds off your time. The pacing is brisk, with three-lap races that encourage repeated attempts. It feels responsive and satisfying when you nail a series of turns cleanly.
