Play Sharkey's Moll Online
1991 Amiga side-scrolling shooter. Play as Lieutenant Sharkey in 1920s Chicago, fighting Rubbers Malone's gang. Features limited ammo, Molotov cocktails, enemy ambushes, and informants that must not be shot.

Sharkey's Moll came out on the Amiga in 1991 from Zeppelin Games. It was one of those side-scrolling shooters that felt right at home on the platform, a straightforward action game set in a pixelated 1920s Chicago. You don't see many gangster-themed run and guns from that era, so it had a certain charm just for its setting.
You control Lieutenant Sharkey, moving screen by screen to take down Rubbers Malone's gang. Your main goal is to clear each area of thugs while watching your limited ammo; you can pick up Molotov cocktails for crowd control, but you have to be careful not to shoot the informants mixed in with the enemies. The pacing is relentless, with ambushes popping out of doors and windows, making it a tough but fair challenge. It feels like a tense, methodical shootout where every bullet counts.
