Shonen Jump's - Shaman King - Master Of Spirits 2 is a GBA action-adventure game that feels like a mix of platforming and light RPG elements. You play as Yoh, running through colorful levels while summoning spirits to fight for you. The first few minutes are straightforward - jump over gaps, hit enemies with your basic attacks - but then you start unlocking new spirits, and the combat gets more interesting.
I remember getting stuck on one boss early on because I hadn't figured out how to properly time spirit summons. The game doesn't hold your hand much, so you have to experiment with different spirits to see what works. The pixel art holds up well, especially the animations when Yoh calls in a new spirit.
