Shrek 2 - Beg For Mercy (V1.1) is a side-scrolling beat 'em up for the GBA where you control Shrek, Donkey, or other characters from the movie. The first few minutes are exactly what you'd expect—punching guards, smashing barrels, and occasionally triggering a clumsy special move that sends enemies flying.
It's not deep, but there's something satisfying about the weight of Shrek's attacks, even if the controls feel a little stiff. The levels drag on a bit too long, though, and the enemy variety is pretty thin. Still, if you just want to mindlessly brawl through a Shrek-themed world, it does the job.
