Play Silkworm Amiga Online
1988 side-scrolling shooter with co-op. Play as helicopter (Player 1) or jeep (Player 2), each with unique combat. Defeat enemies, collect power-ups from downed helicopters.

Silkworm came out on the Amiga in 1988, a port of the arcade game developed by Tecmo and published by Virgin Mastertronic. It arrived during a time when the platform was flush with arcade conversions, offering a solid, if not graphically groundbreaking, take on the top-down and side-scrolling shooter formula.
You control either a helicopter or a jeep, with a second player able to join for cooperative play. The helicopter flies, firing forward and dropping bombs, while the jeep speeds along the ground, its gun able to aim in multiple directions. Your objective is to blast through enemy infantry, tanks, and aircraft across varied terrain, collecting power-ups like spread shots and speed boosts from destroyed helicopters. The action is relentless, with a steady stream of targets and a difficulty that escalates quickly. It feels like a constant, satisfying scramble for survival against overwhelming odds.
