Play Sirius 7 Online
1990 Amiga space shooter. Pilot a starfighter, battle enemy swarms and capital ships, collect weapon and shield upgrades, navigate asteroid fields. Multiple difficulty levels.
Sirius 7 came out for the Amiga in 1990, developed by Discovery Software. It was one of many shooters on the platform at the time, but it stood out for its clean visuals and methodical pace. You didn't get the frantic bullet hell of some other titles; instead, it offered a more deliberate, almost tactical kind of space combat.
You pilot a starfighter through side-scrolling levels filled with enemy formations, capital ships, and hazardous asteroid fields. Your main goal is to survive each stage, destroying everything in your path while collecting power-ups to enhance your weapons and shields. The game uses a screen-by-screen progression, clearing enemies to advance, and features multiple difficulty levels that significantly affect enemy aggression and numbers. It feels focused and demanding, requiring careful positioning and shot management rather than pure reflex. Playing it gives a real sense of measured control amidst the chaos.
