Sky Dancers came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, published by Crave Entertainment. It was part of that wave of tie-in games based on existing toy lines, and it fit right in with the handheld's library of bright, action-focused platformers. You don't see many games built around flying fairy dolls, but it had a certain charm for what it was.
You control one of the Sky Dancers characters, guiding her through side-scrolling levels filled with obstacles and enemies. The main goal is to reach the end of each stage while collecting gems and performing aerial tricks. Signature mechanics include using gusts of wind to gain height, pulling off mid-air spins for points, and avoiding hazards like thorny vines or enemy projectiles. The pacing is fairly brisk, though some sections demand careful timing to navigate. It feels light and floaty, like you're guiding a feather on a breeze, which makes for a relaxed, if sometimes imprecise, experience.
