Download Skyworker_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
1994 educational simulation for Amiga. Manage time, complete mini-game jobs, take aptitude tests, and secure an apprenticeship in a futuristic sky city within three months. Features career paths and a 14-stage application process.
Skyworker is one of those weirdly specific Amiga games that somehow makes job applications feel like an adventure. You play as a fresh graduate in a futuristic floating city where you’ve got three months to land an apprenticeship—or get booted back to the overcrowded surface below. Not exactly your typical high-stakes plot, but it works.
You spend your days teleporting around the city, hitting up bars, shops, and even a casino (because why not). Some folks give you job tips, others just chat, and you’ll take on odd jobs—like sorting weird little figures in a mini-game—to scrape together cash. There’s career counseling too, where a multiple-choice quiz tries to figure out what you’re good at. Spoiler: It’s usually wrong at first.
Once you’ve polished your CV, you start applying, sweating through interviews and then facing a brutal 14-part aptitude test. Pass that, and congrats, you’ve got a job! But the game doesn’t just end there—apparently, adult life goes on. It’s oddly charming in a bureaucratic, slightly stressful way.
