Game Overview
Slaygon throws you into this tense, claustrophobic mission where you’re a lone robot infiltrating a corporate death-factory. The goal? Sabotage the cooling system before they unleash a virus that’ll wipe out humanity. No pressure, right?
It plays like a first-person dungeon crawler, but with this slick mouse-driven interface that feels way ahead of its time for the Amiga. You’re creeping through corridors, swiping keycards off desks, and praying you don’t step on a proton mine. The guards—other robots—patrol in these weird, predictable patterns, but if they spot you, it’s laser fight time.
What’s cool is your gadget loadout. You’ve got this energy meter that doubles as health, and every tool drains it. Need to sneak past a patrol? Cloaking device—but watch that meter. Want to scan the next room? There’s a long-range scanner, but it’ll cost you. It turns every move into this risk-reward puzzle where you’re constantly debating whether to burn energy now or save it for later.
Oh, and the traps. Force fields zap you, ionizer beams fry circuits—half the time you’re digging through your inventory mid-panic trying to remember which item disables what. The tension doesn’t let up until you’ve grabbed the data disk and bolted before the whole place goes nuclear.
