Play Slaygon Online
First-person dungeon-crawler where a robot infiltrates a facility to sabotage a reactor. Collect five override codes, avoid traps and guards, and use limited-energy devices like cloaking and shields. Released in 1988 for Amiga.

Slaygon came out in 1988 for the Amiga, published by MicroDeal. It was one of those first-person dungeon crawlers that felt right at home on the platform, with its chunky, colorful graphics and a focus on methodical exploration. You don't see many games like it now, but back then, it was a solid entry in the genre.
You control a robot infiltrating a hostile facility with the goal of sabotaging its reactor. To do this, you must find five override codes hidden throughout the complex. The gameplay involves navigating maze-like corridors screen by screen, avoiding automated traps and patrolling guard robots. You have limited-energy devices at your disposal, like a personal cloaking field and a defensive shield, which require careful management. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty is unforgiving; a wrong turn can quickly lead to a swift end. It feels tense and calculated, demanding patience and observation more than quick reflexes.
