You play as this little bird in Sophelie, dodging and shooting your way through some seriously weird enemies—like planets that spin at you, trees that try to murder you, and these giant floating eyeballs that just feel unfair. The backgrounds shift as you move between zones, with these cool parallax layers that make it feel like you're actually flying.

What I like is that it doesn't just throw you to the wolves—sometimes enemies drop extra lives, and if you die, you can actually continue instead of starting over. The Amiga's colors really pop here, especially when you hit the later levels. It's one of those shooters that's simple to pick up but still throws curveballs at you.
