Splitz is a weird little puzzle game for Game Boy that feels like someone took a sliding block puzzle and turned it into a chaotic arcade game. You start by launching pieces from the top corner, then shove them around the board to recreate a picture—but half the time you're just trying to stop bombs from exploding in your face.
The doors are my favorite part—you can kick pieces out of play through them, only for those same pieces to come rolling back at you later. And those cracks in the walls? Super annoying when your piece bounces right back where it started. The original 1986 vibes are all here, just with that chunky Game Boy charm.
It's one of those games where you'll solve a puzzle perfectly, then immediately lose a life because you forgot about the bomb ticking in the corner. You can peek at the solution anytime, but good luck getting everything in place before time runs out.
