Play Sports Illustrated for Kids : Baseball Online

Pick your team, tweak your lineup, and watch your scrubs turn into sluggers—those unexpected home runs feel way too good for a kids' baseball game. The power-ups are flashy, but the real magic happens when you link up GBAs for some legit back-and-forth innings.

Game Overview

Sports Illustrated for Kids: Baseball is one of those GBA games that surprised me—it’s got way more depth than you’d expect from a kids’ title. You pick your team, tweak the lineup, and suddenly you’re in this weirdly satisfying loop of playing games, leveling up your players, and watching them go from barely hitting doubles to smashing home runs like it’s nothing.

The 3D camera angles actually work pretty well for a handheld game, following the ball smoothly whether it’s a pop fly or a line drive. And yeah, the "hyper-graphics" power-ups are flashy (your batter literally glows when they’re juiced up), but the real fun is in the multiplayer. Hook up two GBAs, and it turns into a solid little head-to-head baseball sim—way better than just playing against the AI.

It’s not MLB-level realism, but for a quick, arcade-y baseball fix on the go, it holds up better than most GBA sports games.
