Spy Muppets - License to Croak is one of those weird little GBA games that somehow works way better than it should. Kermit’s out here doing spy stuff—like, actual sneaking around in vents and distracting guards with terrible Fozzie Bear jokes (which, yes, counts as a stealth mechanic). Miss Piggy just karate chops everyone, obviously.
It’s got that classic Muppets chaos—silly gadgets, dumb puzzles, and dialogue that’ll make you groan-laugh. Not gonna lie, the platforming’s a bit janky, but who cares when you’re tossing exploding rubber chickens at a villain named "Dr. No-Frog"? Feels like someone took a rejected Muppet Show script and turned it into a game, in the best way possible.
If you’ve got a soft spot for weird licensed games or just miss when the Muppets were allowed to be this unhinged, it’s a surprisingly fun time. Just don’t expect it to take itself seriously for even a second.
