Play Spyro Attack of The Rhynocs (U)(Venom) Online
Top-down Spyro feels weird at first—until you're flaming Rhynocs, solving puzzles with weird gadgets, and hunting keys like some dragon-Zelda mashup. The sarcasm helps.

Game Overview
Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs is one of those weird little GBA games that shouldn’t work but somehow does. Instead of the usual 3D platforming, you’re running around in a top-down world—like if Spyro crashed a Zelda game. At first, it feels strange not being able to jump freely, but you quickly get into the rhythm of flaming enemies, solving puzzles, and hunting down keys to unlock new areas.
The Rhynocs are up to their usual nonsense, and Spyro’s sarcastic quips make even the fetch quests tolerable. You’ll pick up gadgets like a wrench to fix bridges or a snorkel for underwater sections, which keeps things from getting repetitive. The art’s surprisingly vibrant for a GBA title, and the music nails that classic Spyro vibe.
It’s not the deepest game, but there’s something satisfying about methodically clearing each area. Just don’t expect it to play like the console Spyro games—this one’s its own weird, charming thing.
