Download St. Thomas_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
1994 Amiga simulation-strategy game. Manage trade, diplomacy, and combat through naval battles, sword fights, and tactical land engagements. Choose between commander, swashbuckler, merchant, or adventurer roles.
St. Thomas on the Amiga is one of those games that throws a bunch of cool ideas at you and lets you figure out how to survive. At first, I just wandered around trying not to get stabbed—you can play as a merchant, a pirate, or even some weird mix of both. The fencing duels are clunky but weirdly satisfying once you get the timing down.
What really hooked me was the naval battles. Your little ship bobs around like a toy in a bathtub, but there’s something about lining up a perfect broadside that never gets old. And if you’re the type who likes spreadsheets with your swashbuckling, the trading system actually makes you think before buying low and selling high.
It’s janky in that classic Amiga way, but there’s nothing else quite like it. Just don’t expect modern polish—half the fun is wrestling with the controls until they click.
