Game Overview

If you've ever wanted to mash the original Star Wars trilogy into a GBA cartridge, this is pretty much that. You jump between Luke, Han, and Leia across all three movies—slashing Stormtroopers with a lightsaber, blasting through Hoth, even doing that awkward speeder bike chase from Return of the Jedi. The pixel art nails the vibe, especially Vader’s cape animation when you fight him.

It’s not super deep—more of a straightforward side-scroller with some light platforming—but the controls feel solid, and switching between characters keeps it interesting. Han’s blaster sections are weirdly satisfying once you get the timing down. My only gripe? No playable Chewie. Still, for a quick nostalgia hit, it’s hard to beat. Just don’t expect Knights of the Old Republic levels of depth.

Also, the Death Star trench run is way harder than it should be. You’ve been warned.
