Play Statix Online
Statix is a 1994 Amiga puzzle game where players stack falling blocks on a tilting see-saw, balancing weight while clearing matching lines of three. Features physics-based mechanics and a competitive 2-player mode.

Statix came out for the Amiga in 1994, developed by Black Legend Ltd. It was part of that wave of puzzle games that really made the most of the hardware, offering something a little more tactile and physics-driven than the usual falling block fare. You could tell it was built with the Amiga's capabilities in mind, with smooth animation and a clean, functional look.
You control the placement of colored blocks as they slide down a tilting seesaw platform. The goal is to match three or more blocks of the same color in a row, either horizontally or vertically, to clear them and prevent the stack from overflowing. The seesaw tilts based on where you drop each piece, so you're constantly managing weight distribution; it's a balancing act as much as a matching game. There's also a two-player mode that gets pretty competitive. The pace is steady but demanding, and misjudging the balance can quickly lead to a collapse. It feels satisfying when you pull off a tricky match just as the weight is about to tip everything over.
