Game Overview

Strikefleet on the Amiga is one of those games that looks simple at first—just a grid of ships and some numbers—but then suddenly you're sweating over every move. You command a fleet of ships in turn-based battles, positioning them just right to maximize firepower while minimizing losses. The AI isn't messing around, either—it'll flank you if you leave an opening.

What I love is how clean it feels. No flashy animations, just pure tactical depth. Early on, I kept losing cruisers because I'd rush in, but after a few matches, I started playing the long game, baiting the enemy into traps. The sound effects are satisfyingly chunky, too—every hit feels like it matters.

If you like strategy games that make you think three steps ahead, this one’s a hidden gem.
