Download Sturmtruppen - The Video Game_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
1992 Amiga side-scroller with shooting and platforming. Features varied missions, enemy encounters, and slapstick obstacles. Single-disk adventure.
Sturmtruppen on the Amiga is one of those weird, chaotic war games that somehow makes getting blown up feel hilarious. You control these little stick-figure soldiers running through trenches, dodging bullets, and occasionally getting flattened by tanks—all in that classic, exaggerated comic style. The controls take a second to get used to (jumping feels a little floaty), but once you get the rhythm, it’s pure slapstick carnage.
What really sells it is the absurdity—your guys flail around like they’ve never seen a battlefield before, and the explosions have this over-the-top cartoon flair. Not gonna lie, I died a lot at first just figuring out how not to walk directly into machine gun fire. But that’s half the fun.
If you’ve got an Amiga and a soft spot for old-school, slightly janky action games, this one’s a riot. Just don’t expect military realism—unless your idea of war involves soldiers tripping over their own grenades.
