Super Duper Sumos is one of those weirdly charming GBA games based on a Nickelodeon show you probably forgot existed. You pick between three massive sumo dudes—Boomer, Kimo, or Mamoo—each with their own ridiculous special move. Boomer literally sits on enemies, which never stops being funny, while Kimo turns into a human bowling ball. Mamoo? He just hugs people to death.
The whole thing feels like a Saturday morning cartoon, complete with an evil corporation run by Ms. Mister (yes, really). The controls are simple—charge up, get bigger, and wreck stuff—but there’s something satisfying about squashing robots as a magical sumo wrestler. It’s janky in that early 2000s licensed-game way, but in a fun, nostalgic sort of mess.
