Super Duper Sumos came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, published by Global Star Software. It was part of that wave of quirky, mid-budget titles that filled out the GBA library, offering something a little different from the usual platformers and RPGs. You don't hear much about it now, but it had a certain charm if you were into its particular brand of chaos.
You control one of several large sumo wrestlers, and your main goal is to clear each stage of enemy robots. The core mechanics involve charging up your character to increase their size and mass, which then lets you destroy obstacles and enemies by either sitting on them or plowing through destructible environments. The game is broken into small, contained levels where you hunt down every last robot; the pacing is fast and a bit frantic, though the difficulty can spike unexpectedly. It feels silly and uncomplicated, a game built entirely around the simple joy of being big and causing a mess.
