Play Super R.C. Pro-Am Online
Dodging oil slicks and zapping rivals with power-ups while hunting for floating letters—it's chaotic little RC racing that nails that "one more lap" feel. Unlocking faster cars by spelling NINTENDO mid-race is a weirdly addictive hook.

Super R.C. Pro-Am came out for the Game Boy in 1991, developed by Rare. It was one of the more polished racing games on the handheld at the time, offering a solid alternative to the more straightforward racers available. The game built on the foundation of its NES predecessor, bringing that same top-down racing action into a portable format.
You control a small radio-controlled car, racing against three opponents across a series of isometric tracks. The main goal is to finish in the top three to advance through the increasingly difficult cups. Key mechanics include collecting power-ups like missiles and oil slicks to hinder rivals, and grabbing floating letters to eventually spell "Nintendo" and unlock faster vehicles. The pacing is quick, and the narrow tracks demand precise driving to avoid walls and hazards. It feels satisfying to weave through traffic while managing your limited ammunition and racing for position.
