Play Sword of Hope, The Online
You play as Prince Theo again, hacking through blocky dungeons and rationing spells while that weirdly catchy battle music loops endlessly. It's janky, grindy, and stubbornly old-school in that way only early Game Boy RPGs can be.

The Sword of Hope came out on the Game Boy in 1992, published by Kemco. It was part of that early wave of handheld RPGs, where developers were still figuring out how to fit a full adventure onto a small screen. You don't see many people talk about it now, but it had a certain charm if you were into slower, thoughtful games back then.
You control Prince Theo, exploring the world screen by screen, fighting monsters in turn-based battles where you choose to attack or use limited magic. Your main goal is to find the pieces of the Triforce, which involves a lot of dungeon delving, talking to townsfolk for clues, and managing your health and spell points carefully. The pacing is slow, and some parts feel grindy, but there's a real sense of accomplishment when you solve a puzzle or defeat a tough enemy. It feels like a quiet, stubborn little quest that rewards patience.
