The controls take a second to get used to since you're working with fewer buttons, but after a few matches, pulling off combos starts to feel pretty satisfying. The backgrounds are simple but colorful, and the characters actually animate better than you'd expect for a handheld this old. It's not perfect, but if you need a quick Tekken fix on the go, this does the job.
