Play Terramex Online
1987 Amiga action-adventure. Explore underground labyrinth, collect keys, solve puzzles, battle enemies. Features platforming, traps, and hidden passages.
Terramex came out on the Amiga in 1987 from developer/publisher Gremlin Graphics. It was part of that wave of early Amiga games that tried to push the hardware with colorful, multi-screen adventures, though it often got overshadowed by bigger titles.
You control an explorer delving into a massive underground labyrinth. Your goal is to collect all the keys scattered across the complex to unlock the final exit. The game plays out screen by screen, with you jumping across platforms, avoiding instant-death traps like spikes and crushers, and battling strange creatures with a simple sword. The pacing is methodical; you have to study each new room for hidden passages and time your movements carefully. It feels like a tense, deliberate crawl through a dangerous and unpredictable place.
