I picked up The Fairly OddParents!: Enter the Cleft for the Game Boy Advance back in 2005, a time when licensed platformers were everywhere. THQ published it, and it felt like a standard but decent effort for a handheld game based on a cartoon. It didn't try to reinvent anything, just offered a straightforward adventure that fit right in with what was available on the system then.

You control Timmy Turner, who gets pulled into a comic book and becomes Cleft the Boy-Chin Wonder. The main goal is to fight through levels, defeat enemies, and rescue your fairy godparents. You move screen by screen, punching and jumping on foes while navigating platforms that sometimes feel a bit slippery. The game involves collecting coins and finding keys to unlock doors, with a difficulty that starts simple but gets trickier in later stages. It feels like a quick, sometimes janky, but mostly fun romp through a Saturday morning cartoon.
