Play The Flinstones Online
Swing Fred’s club at caveman nonsense—ride a pterodactyl, bowl with a dinosaur, and dodge Wilma’s scolding while Bedrock’s pastel chaos unfolds. The janky physics grow on you after a few whiffs.

I picked up The Flintstones for the Sega Genesis back in '93, a game developed by Taito. It was one of those licensed platformers that felt pretty common at the time, but it had a certain charm with its bright colors and familiar characters. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just gave you a solid dose of Bedrock action.
You control Fred Flintstone, moving through side-scrolling stages, hitting enemies with your club, and jumping across platforms. The main goal is to rescue Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm from a group of no-good kidnappers. You'll ride a pterodactyl in some sections, use a bowling ball and dinosaur setup to knock down obstacles, and avoid Wilma's flying dishes when you cause too much trouble. The pacing is decent, though some jumps require precise timing, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly. It feels a little clunky at first, but the janky physics grow on you after a few whiffs.
