I picked up The Pink Panther for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002, a time when handhelds were full of these bright, cartoon platformers. It was developed by DC Studios and published by Wanadoo Edition, and it fit right in with the kind of lighthearted, visually simple games that were common on the GBA. You don't hear much about it now, but at the time it was just another solid option if you were into that style.

You control the Pink Panther himself, moving screen by screen through a variety of themed stages. Your main goal is to progress through each level, jumping across platforms, avoiding enemies like dogs and bees, and collecting pink diamonds and musical notes for points. The game relies on careful timing for jumps and enemy dodges, and some stages include simple puzzles, like pushing blocks or finding keys. The pacing is fairly relaxed, though some later levels can get tricky with their enemy placement. It feels straightforward and cheerful, like a Saturday morning cartoon you can play through with your thumbs.
