Play The Powerpuff Girls - Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go (U)(Mode7) Online
Battle Mojo Jojo's robotic monkeys as one of the Powerpuff Girls, using punches, kicks, and special attacks to clear stages and take down the villain in this side-scrolling beat 'em up.
I picked up The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go for the Game Boy Advance back in 2001. It was developed by VIS Entertainment and published by BAM! Entertainment, arriving right in that early wave of GBA titles that tried to capture cartoon energy in a portable format. It felt very much of its time, a side-scrolling beat 'em up built for quick sessions between classes or on car rides.
You control one of the three Powerpuff Girls, each with a unique special attack, as you punch and kick your way through waves of Mojo Jojo's robotic monkeys across various city stages. The main goal is straightforward: clear each screen of enemies to progress, eventually facing off against Mojo himself. Signature mechanics include using environmental objects like mailboxes or lampposts as thrown weapons and executing screen-clearing super moves once your power meter fills. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty stays manageable, though some enemy swarms can get a bit repetitive. It captures the simple, chaotic fun of the cartoon without overcomplicating things.
