You're either scrambling RAF Hurricanes to intercept incoming bombers or sweating in a Stuka's cockpit trying to hit your target before fighters rip you apart. The planes handle differently—Spitfires feel nimble while the He 111 lumbers like the flying brick it is—and switching between pilot, gunner, and bombardier views keeps things chaotic in the best way.
What's cool is how the campaign mode lets you rewrite history. Assign squadrons on a big map, then jump into one mission that actually affects the whole battle. Mess up an interception as the Brits, and suddenly your airfields are getting pounded next round. There's something terrifying about seeing a swarm of dots (enemy bombers) appear on the horizon while you're still climbing to altitude.
