Your main goal is to stop Oogie Boogie's latest scheme, which involves moving screen by screen, fighting enemies with a quick slash attack, and bouncing off pumpkins to reach higher platforms. The game emphasizes exploration and light combat, with a moderate pace that occasionally spikes in difficulty during boss encounters. It feels like a straightforward, atmospheric adventure that stays true to its source material.
