Tokyo Disneyland: Fantasy Tour came out for the original Game Boy, developed by Sims and published by Epoch. It was one of those late-era releases that tried to capture a big, colorful place on the small, green-tinted screen, a common ambition as the handheld's life wound down.
You choose to play as Mickey, Minnie, or Goofy, then walk through the park's different themed lands, entering attractions that each become a unique mini-game. Some rides turn into simple trivia challenges where you answer questions about Disney, while others are action-based, like steering a boat through a river or timing jumps across moving platforms. The main goal is just to experience all the attractions, but the pacing is slow, and some mini-games are surprisingly difficult due to loose controls or unclear objectives. It feels like carrying a heavy, slightly confusing souvenir from a trip you only half remember.
