Play Tom and Jerry - Infurnal Escape (U)(Venom) Online
Tom wakes up in hell after a piano mishap, dodging demons and stealing junk while Jerry heckles him—it’s janky but has that weird GBA charm.

I picked up Tom and Jerry: Infurnal Escape for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003, a time when licensed games were everywhere. It was published by NewKidCo, and it definitely has that early 2000s handheld feel, with bright colors and simple, cartoonish sprites. The premise is as silly as you'd expect; Tom ends up in Hell after one of his usual failed attempts to catch Jerry, and now he has to find his way out.
You control Tom through a series of side scrolling levels, avoiding demons, jumping over pits, and collecting items like bones and cheese to progress. The main goal is to escape each stage while Jerry, who follows along, occasionally tosses helpful items or makes sarcastic comments. The mechanics are straightforward: you run, jump, and use a limited slap attack to stun enemies. Some sections require careful timing to avoid hazards or to use platforms that disappear after a moment. The difficulty can feel uneven, with some frustrating enemy placements, but the short levels make it easy to pick up for a few minutes. It feels like a straightforward, slightly clunky platformer that doesn't overstay its welcome.
