Play Track Meet Online
Ditch your friends in the 100m dash with frantic button mashing, then choke spectacularly on the pole vault timing—those AI opponents won’t go easy on you.

Track Meet came out on the Game Boy in 1991 from Interplay Entertainment. It was one of those early sports titles that tried to capture the feel of a full competition in your pocket, a simple concept for a system known for quick, pick-up-and-play experiences.
You control an athlete competing in a series of events like the 100-meter dash, long jump, and javelin throw. The main objective is to win medals by outperforming the computer opponents in each discipline. The gameplay relies heavily on specific, timed button presses; mashing the A button as fast as possible powers your sprinter, while precise timing is everything for the jumping and throwing events. The difficulty spikes noticeably between events, demanding you master each event's unique rhythm. It feels like a genuine test of your coordination and speed against the hardware's limits.
