Game Overview
Transworld is one of those business sims that makes you feel like a stressed-out tycoon within minutes. You start with a tiny Frankfurt-based haulage company and 50,000 Deutsche Marks burning a hole in your pocket—which sounds like a lot until you realize how fast fuel and truck repairs eat into profits. The game throws curveballs: one day you're sweating over oil shipment delays, the next you're nervously watching stock prices or debating whether to fudge the tax numbers (risky, but tempting).
What I didn’t expect was how the game tracks your character’s health. Skip too many vacations, and suddenly your CEO collapses from exhaustion, leaving your empire in chaos. It’s not just about money—you’re juggling reputation, trade deals, and not ending up in the hospital. The scoring system keeps you from just hoarding cash; you actually need to balance being ruthless with playing the long game. By the time you’re eyeing that third warehouse, you’ll be checking your stress meter more than your bank account.
It’s brutal, weirdly immersive, and still one of the more unique takes on business sims out there.
