Game Overview
Trinity is one of those weird, brilliant text adventures that sticks with you. You start off in Kensington Gardens—totally normal, right? Except suddenly there’s an army of nannies blocking your way out, and oh yeah, a Soviet nuke’s about to drop on London. Then you stumble through this weird door and end up in some limbo full of other doors, each leading to a different moment where a nuclear explosion happened (or could happen).
The puzzles are clever, sometimes frustrating in that classic Infocom way, but the real hook is the atmosphere. You’re hopping between real history and twisted fiction, trying to rewrite the timeline before everything goes kaboom. And that ending in the New Mexico desert? Chilling. If you like your adventures with a side of existential dread, this one’s a trip.
