Play Trump Boy Online
Tiny LCD card battles get weirdly intense—Daifugō turns into a cutthroat scramble where you either climb ranks or get stuck handing over your best cards to smug AI opponents. Speed and Nervous Breakdown crank up the pressure until you're slamming buttons like it matters.

Trump Boy is a 1990 Game Boy release from TOSE, a developer known for its work on many licensed and original titles during the handheld's early years. It arrived during a period when the system's library was rapidly expanding beyond Nintendo's own franchises, offering a straightforward digital card game experience without much fanfare.
You control a cursor to select and play cards against computer opponents in a game of Daifugō, or President. The main objective is to be the first to empty your hand each round, climbing from a commoner to the president rank. Signature mechanics include slamming the A button to quickly pass your turn when you cannot play a card, and nervously watching the "Nervous Breakdown" meter fill if you take too long, which forces you to discard your highest card. The pacing is deliberately frantic, and the AI opponents feel unfairly shrewd at higher difficulties, often leaving you with a terrible hand. It feels like a tense, button-mashing race against both the clock and cunning logic.
