Game Overview

Virocop Disk 2 came out in 1995 for the Amiga, a time when isometric shooters were gaining traction on home computers. Renegade Software developed it, with Time Warner Interactive handling the publishing. It was a solid follow-up to the first game, offering more of what players expected from the series without reinventing the wheel.

You control D.A.V.E., a digital antivirus unit, moving through grid-based levels to eliminate all viruses. Each themed world contains four stages, and you use a variety of weapons to clear enemies screen by screen. The game supports co-op modes, either with split controls or turn-based play, which adds a tactical layer to the action. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you rush. Playing it feels like a tense, strategic puzzle where every shot counts.
