Play Vyrus Online
Top-down shooter where players control a hovercraft through maze-like industrial sectors. Features enemy drones, boss battles, power-ups for upgrades, and a password save system. Released in 1991 for Amiga.

Vyrus came out on the Amiga in 1991, a top-down shooter from the team at Eclipse Software. It fit right in with the kind of action games the platform was known for, offering a straightforward but challenging experience without a lot of the frills you'd see in bigger titles.
You pilot a small hovercraft through a series of industrial maze sectors, clearing each screen of enemy drones and turrets before moving on. Your main goal is to survive the gauntlet, defeat the boss waiting at the end of each stage, and collect power-ups to upgrade your weapons and shields. The pacing is relentless; you're constantly weaving through narrow corridors, dodging fire from all directions, and managing your limited energy. It feels tense and demanding, a real test of reflexes and route memory.
