Play Vyrus Online
Top-down shooter where players control a hovercraft through maze-like industrial sectors. Features enemy drones, boss battles, power-ups for upgrades, and a password save system. Released in 1991 for Amiga.

Game Overview
Vyrus is one of those Amiga games that looks simple at first—just a little ship dodging obstacles—but then it throws these weird, almost hypnotic patterns at you. The screen fills with these pulsing geometric shapes, and suddenly you're not just avoiding walls, you're threading through this constantly shifting maze. The controls feel tight, which helps because some of the later levels get seriously intense.
What I love is how the music and visuals sync up—when you hit a checkpoint, everything pulses in time with the beat. It's got that classic '90s demo scene vibe, where you can tell the developers were showing off what the Amiga could do. Not gonna lie, I wiped out a lot before getting the hang of the rhythm.
If you're into retro games that punish you just enough to make victories feel earned, this one's a hidden gem.
